Rule 116C
Performance Incentive Fund

(1) The Government of Nepal to improve the performance of government offices and bring efficiency in service, Section 28A of the Act. A performance incentive fund can be established according to.
(2) A performance incentive fund may be established in ministries, commissions, and secretariat-level central bodies subject to the fund established in accordance with sub-rule (1).
(3) In the fund according to sub-rule (2), the related central body can collect the amount given by the Government of Nepal in the form of incentives based on the amount saved by spending less than the previous financial year on the consumption of general expenses and office operating expenses of the body under sub-rule.
(4) Based on the amount collected according to sub-rule (3), the relevant central agency may determine the criteria for evaluating the civil servants of the agencies under it and give reward money as an incentive to the employees and offices based on the evaluation of the performance level of the civil servants.
(5) No agency can create a performance incentive fund contrary to this rule.
(6) The Government of Nepal may create and implement separate guidelines for the management, operation and setting of standards for the performance fund.
